About Draufsicht

Also known as Beyond the Horizon Association (BeHA)

is a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting global learning through youths from diverse backgrounds and consolidating diversity and efforts towards social change and community-based development. Through our work, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive and informed global community.
Draufsicht promotes global education by engaging youths, journalists, community leaders, and the community to promote global connections. It is committed to upholding the values of youth participation in social change, and local and international policies. To attain this, we are leveraging our local efforts to address critical social issues and capacity building.

Community Journalism Network Initiative

Community journalism in Anglophone Cameroon

This project aims at strengthening the structures for effective peace journalism to place reports on events and conflicts in their context.

Coordinator

Draufsicht is a youth-led organization headed by Dzebam Godlove who holds an International Masters in Quality Education in Developing countries from the University of Bamberg-Germany. He believes in social change, “Glocalisation”, as well as “Glocation” (global education) and reflections on the Transformative Learning Journey as a tool.

Program Officer

just completed his second degree at the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Science (PIASS) Rwanda with the Bachelor's Degree of Development studies with Honors in Peace Building and Development. Jato has had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program in Japan at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. As a Program Officer at Draufsicht, he drives initiatives that promote global learning, ensuring accessible, high-quality learning for all through strategic planning and program management.

Communication Officer

As a Communication Officer at Draufsich], she is passionate about advancing global learning and storytelling. She crafts compelling narratives, manages strategic communications, and engages diverse audiences to amplify our mission. Her goal is to foster a global community where learning opportunities are inclusive for all. She holds a BSc in Journalism and Media and has been part of several International learning platforms.
